One of my customers can't access a remote database of one of his subsidiaries, I checked and it can't be access from anywhere. The ODBC error says: "Connection failed: Database server not found".
I tried disabling both Antivirus (Avast) and Firewall and nothing. The hostname does ping but takes double the time of other subsidiaries in the same city (61 ms the other and this one 124 ms), I don't know if that says something, maybe there is something blocking me.
I forwarded the 2638 port and checked if it was open and it was. Is there something I need to configure in Sybase that I forgot? What else can I check? The other subsidiaries have no problems and have the same configuration as this one.
Also, for some odd reason they installed DynDNS and both were running, I tried connecting via this but still nothing so I disabled it in case it was causing conflicts with No-IP and still nothing.
