How do I get the latest version of Dashboards Designer?
This may sound like a silly question - so here some detail.
I am using an upgrade I bought on Jan 30 2014. The about box says SAP Business Objects Dashboards 4.1 Support Pack 1 Version 14.1.1.1036.
I have a new computer and the install file from Jan will not install on the new machine ("invalid key"). As I am working on an urgent project in desperation I bought a full version this morning. It's about box says Dashboards Version 6.0.4.0 Build 14,0,4,738.
When I open an existing xlf created in the "old" version the "new" version says "This file was created with a newer version of Dashboards ... you must upgrade to the latest version of (%2)."
So, it appears that the version I bought this morning is "older" than the version I bought 5 months ago! Or perhaps these two versions are not in the same family line (does anyone else find the Xcelsius/Dashboards naming and version numbers impossible to understand?).
My attempts to find support packs to update to the latest version keep resulting in 404-type messages from SAP sites.
