First post so please be gentle with me!
We have a VB6 application that we have upgraded Crystal reports from 8.5 to XI Developer,
The runtime setup file has been created using Advanced Installer using the merge module's.
This works when installing on to a 2008 server, but errors when installing on 2003.
We get a error on multiple DLL files :-
" Module: C:\Program Files\ Business Objects\ Common\3.5\bin\ExportModeller.dll failed to register. HRESULT -2147024769 "
Also on another 32 DLL files.
Server is Windows 2003 Standard 32Bit, terminal Server, 20 users. (Virtual Server running on Citrix XenCenter)
I have tried:-
- Rebooting server
- logging on and installing as domain admin & local system admin
- Installing C++ runtime files
- Installing .Net runtime files
- Making sure the licence key is typed in correctly
- Installing Java run time files
- Downloading Crystal run time for visual studio from SAP web site (Install okay)If I try and manually
- I have tried to install manually (CMD as admin - C:\windows\system32) using regsvr32
I get the message "The specified procedure could not be found"
Any Idea's ? - this is sending me crazy !
