Allocation rule generation

Hi,

Please advise, how the Allocation Rule and Allocation Strategy works.

When i am crating allocation table, Allocation Rule is not appearing, and i cannot able to insert the allocation rule manually, eventhough i have configured allocation Rule in SPRO.

Am i missing steps.

Detailed SAP steps will be appreciable to use Rule and Strategy.
