Folder Locking from SAP Client

HI All,

Hopefully someone can point me in the right direction or provide an answer to below.  Keep in mind I am not a SAP Tech but a Sys Admin who has been asked to help out.

SAP Client - 7.30 final release Versions 7300.2.4.1085

When users attach a file in a SAP record/request, the folder the file sits in becomes locked and the user cannot delete the folder until after SAP is fully closed.

Or if the user selects another folder, then the previous folder becomes unlocked,  The new folder they select then becomes locked.

Using it PROCXP, a sysinternals tools, it clearly shows that the SAP client has an exclusive lock on the folder.  Closing the SAP client then shows the locking gone as well.

Has anybody come across this issue or it a "feature?"
