Hi to the super SAP community
I've been trying to figure out how to insert a hyperlink (in, say, an Excel document) to a SAP document. There is a lot of information around about hyperlinking in SAP documents to other documents but not for this (so far as I can find anyway). Any clues?
I have a Excel document that I want to link to files which contain more in-depth data. So far my poor work-around has been to download the required documents from SAP to a local folder and link them in the usual MS way. This obviously negates the whole point of having sap, and if the document is updated (it's likely that some will be) I will then be unknowingly referencing out of date documents.
If I can create a link to the SAP document, or even just a link to automatically run the SAP search without opening the document, that would be great!
I feel this probably has a very simple solution (I'd be pretty surprised is SAP doesn't have this basic functionality built in) but I can't seem to work it out.
Any help is much appreciated. Thanks!
