I would like to submit an Idea, but before that, I would like to know if my problem is already resolved on SP4 and higher.

Environnement : BI4.1 SP3 FP6 (Cluster)
Scope : PlatformSearch application, BILaunchPad
In BILaunchPad , you can display the owner of the document by selected "Created by" in the BILaunchPad preferences (by the way, the owner is not the creator, they should change the description). In the CMS, it is related to the column SI_OWNER.
In the PlatformSearch application, you can index Platform and Document Metadata which include search by author but not by the owner. The author in the CMS matches with the column SI_AUTHOR.
In BILaunchPad, you can't visualize the author of a WID.
My suggestion :
- Adding the index on SI_OWNER in addition of SI_AUTHOR
- Display the author of a report in BILaunchPad
- Rename "Created by" by "Owner".
