Basically, SAP ECC has two categories.

1. Functional
   1. MM
   2. SD
   3. FI / CO
   4. HR
   5. VMS
   6. TMS
   7. PP
   8. PS and etc..
2. Technical
   1. ABAP/4
   2. BASIS

Apart from these,SAP has BW, BPC, HANA, SRM, CRM, APO and etc..

So, Please decide yourself to proceed further.
