Re: PLM 7.02 installation

Hello Sid,

I really remember this tricky issue and I am afraid that it was solved with the latest SP Stack of EHP6 at that time using SUM tool.

Cold you please let me know the current SP Level of EA-APPL606 and EA-IPPE406? PLMWUI701 is for EHP5, but in order to install PLMWUI702 you will also need PLMWUI701 installation file and some additional attribute change packages.

Download the following files and try to install PLMWUI702 once more using SAINT:

PLMWUI701.SAR                PLM WUI 701 Attribute Change Package 03 for PLMWUI 701

PLMWUI702.SAR                PLM WUI 702 Attribute Change Package 04 for PLMWUI 702

K-701BGINPLMWUI.SAR     PLM WUI 701 SAP PLM Web UI 701

K-702BHINPLMWUI.SAR     PLM WUI 702 PLMWUI 702 Upgrade

K-70201INPLMWUI.SAR      PLM WUI 702 PLMWUI 702: SP 0001

Keep in mind that SP01 of PLMWUI702 requires min. SP01 of EA-APPL and EA-IPPE.

As a precaution and advise, SAP does not support/recommend to install software components using SPAM anymore.

Since PLMWUI is dependent of EA-APPL/EA-IPPE I would highly recommend to generate a XML stack file and update to the latest SP Stack of EHP6 using Software Update Manager (SUM).

During the generation of XML file use Enhancement Package Installation (not Maintenance) in the next screen select EHP6 for ERP 6.0 and the current level or the latest SP Stack of EHP6, after this scroll down, select PLM Core and continue with the next steps.

Best regards,

Marius
